BC Spirits "Spirit a Day" #190 - Odd Society Commodore Single Malt

DISTILLERY NOTES

Commodore honours tradition—beckoning back to a Scottish heritage—while proudly thriving in its West Coast berth. This refined spirit is distilled with 100% BC grown, malted barley. To that, it owes its distinctive peppery-sweetness, along with its dark fruit and tobacco notes. This single malt is unyieldingly confident and proudly declares: welcome to the New World.

BC SPIRITS NOTES

Odd Society Limited release Commodore Single Malt. On the nose and color hints to its youthful cut grass, floral rolling hill style of the highlands of Scotland but on the palate it shocks you with deep baddy notes of dark fruits and cigar balancing off those classic bright notes of the highlands. Must have in your whisky selection.

Alcohol - 46% / 92 Proof

Color - Translucent golden wheat

Nose - Hints of what’s to come, bright barley notes, cut grass, floral with deeper bassy notes of dry cacao lingering behind

Taste - Huge mouthfeel, the nose and color don’t let you expect the complexity of the palate. Those bright fragrant notes are balanced with spice, tobacco and red fruit.

Finish - Long and lingering red fruit and cigar

Best Enjoyed - Neat
