Today’s spirit is from Okanagan Spirits, gorgeous summer in a bottle, Blueberry Liqueur. Like drinking blueberry concentrate without the sweetness and the addition of rich tannins.
Alcohol - 24% / 48 proof
Color - Bright purple with light edges
Nose - Stewed blueberries, tannic skin
Taste - Tannic, sweet skin forward with gentle blueberry flesh and bright acidity
Finish - Fresh, underripe blueberry with palate pleasing acidity
Best Enjoyed - Gin, blueberry collins; gin, blueberry liqueur, lemon juice and soda; garnish with blueberries and mint
