BC SPIRITS NOTES
I suppose you can say that I am rediscovering Arbutus Distillery over the last few weeks. The Forest Dweller combines and takes to another level the trend of flavored and oak aged gins to another level. Oak aged with a post infusion of spruce and pine tips gives this gin a unique sweet fruitiness that you don't come across often. Must try, love to do this in a gin and tonic and play with the bitters.
Alcohol - 40% / 80 proof
Color - Light copper
Nose - Cut pine and complex spruce notes with a hint of spicy oak
Taste - On the palate, fruity spruce, cut pine, West Coast juniper notes with complex botanicals with a back bone of spicy oak
