DISTILLERY NOTES
This premium handcrafted Gin is aged in small 30-litre bourbon barrels and bottled when the spirit is suitably aged. The result is an aromatic small-batch gin with a uniquely complex finish, perfect as a sipping Gin or the foundation for a variety of cocktails. The flavour profile includes aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, spicy juniper and hints of baking spices on the nose, paired with silky smooth caramel and vanilla notes on the palate, leaving a lingering, rich and robust finish.
BC SPIRITS NOTES
Another great find for this week of "Soole What Were you Thinking?", the Long Table Distillery Barrel Aged Gin is one of the OG aged gins in BC. I have talked about this in the past with the barrel notes complimenting the botanicals and this one is a perfect example, their classic London Dry balanced with fresh cut oak and hints of toasty vanilla.
Alcohol - 44% / 88 proof
Color -Light copper
Nose - Fresh cut oak, hints of toasty vanilla and distinct poignant juniper
Taste - The fresh oak and toasty oak fold perfectly in with the botanicals. Poppy, classic juniper with aromatic spice complimenting the whole pour.
Finish - Focused and delicious London Dry
Best Enjoyed - Great sub for any macro brand
