BC Spirits "Spirits a Day" #345 - Fernie Distillers Cinder Liqueur

DISTILLERY NOTES

Indominable spirit. Faced with the catastrophic fires of 1904 and 1908, Fernie was rebuilt both times by people exemplifying strength and determination. Cinder is a smoky Lapsang souchong tea-infused liqueur sweetened with blue agave and a touch of orange peel.

BC SPIRITS NOTES

Very unique liqueur from Fernie Distillers, a Lapsang Liqueur. Rich and elegant smokiness is balanced on the nose with the addition of orange peel. This really is a great little liqueur and would be very versatile in cocktails when you are looking for that smoky note. Elegant tea smoke, hints of orange peel and balanced sweetness.

Alcohol - 35% / 70 proof

Color - Translucent cola brown

Nose - Focuses tea smoke, rich and round with hints of orange peel

Taste - Aromatic and fragrant Lapsang, smokey, funky and rich with hints of orange peel freshness to balance it

Finish - Long smoky notes with balanced sweetness

Best Enjoyed - Really work with whisky as cocktails
